I like the concept of sending any file or content to Posterous by email, and the address is nice and easy to remember. It’s worth noting that Tumblr lets me post via email too, though. To prove the point I’m going to check and post this to both services :-)

Presentations and the art of Slidesharing
I gave a presentation this week which I’d love to put up on Slideshare.
There are just one or two small issues.
First, I’d need to sanitise and remove customer-specific information. Shouldn’t take too long.
Oh, it’s in Keynote format, and Slideshare doesn’t read that yet, at least I don’t think so.

I pinged Michael Rowe on Skype last night as he and Michael M. recorded this week’s edition of Dogear Nation.

I just discovered Ctrl+Scroll wheel zooms in and out of a page in FF3 (including text and graphics).

Fixing a dead Amazon connection
I discovered that none of my machines at home could connect to (browser, ping or traceroute) Amazon UK. They were being stopped at the ISP datacenter.
Having complained to my ISP (Pipex) I was told to check for spyware, check my hosts files, stop firewalls etc.. Annoying as I’d told them clearly I was using a mixture of Windows and Mac machines and sent them traceroute output demonstrating...
